January 25, 2022 - Smyrna Dunes Park
 
Just south of Daytona is Smyrna Dunes Park.  We stopped in to check it out.
   
A boardwalk makes a big circle through the park.
   
This is something I've never seen before -- jungle combined with sand dunes.  It was very pretty walking through it.
   
A tall condo overlooks the park.
   
We emerge from the jungle onto the beach.
   
This is a popular surfing spot.  There were quite a few surfers out in the water and cars parked on the beach.

We liked Smyrna Dunes Park.  It only takes an hour or two to walk it.  Recommended.
